Actress Chika Ike says she is enjoying her celibate lifestyle

Celibacy seems to be the cool choice among Nollywood actresses these days.

Earlier today (September 14) Yvonne Nelson revealed she is a 'secondary virgin'. Now, Chika Ike who back in April said she had been off sex in a year has spoken about her celibate lifestyle.

Chika Ike told Sun newspaper that sex abstinence is not a part of her beauty regimen.

"No, not at all (laughter). Sex is not part of my beauty routine right now. I just want to focus on my movie, Nwa Teacher, and the reality show, African Diva." She also said she is currently enjoying her celibate lifestyle. "I’m very determined. If I make up my mind to do something I face it. I decided to be celibate for now and I’m enjoying it."

Asked how her boyfriend is coping with her celibate lifestyle she disclosed that she is not in a relationship presently.

"Hi Guys! I must say its not easy being celibate... Five months and still counting....wow!! I'll be in bed all day, Hugging my pillows.... Lol" wrote the actress in April about her celibacy landmark.
